Welcome to the 2010-2011 programme for Adult Education Carlisle, which covers Brampton and Longtown.

This is an exciting time for the School and Adult Education with the opening of Phase 1 of the new build of the School in September.

We are offering a wide range of courses at Trinity School, and at our outreach Centres in our local communities. The programme is designed to provide you with accessible learning opportunities to develop skills and confidence for work, leisure and personal enjoyment. We are offering new courses in Handmade Keepsakes & Gifts, Marketing, Experimental Drawing, Chakra Balancing, Language Taster courses, Psychology GCSE, AS & A2, Text Processing, Cumbrian Archaeology, and many more! There is a brief description of each course within the brochure; a more detailed fact sheet for each course is available from our website and the Centre.

We try our utmost to care for your needs and each year we offer new and innovative classes in response to learner and tutor feedback for example; History Workshops, evening courses in Dressmaking and Tailoring and Language taster courses etc. Last year over 2,000 adult learners attended courses within our Centre. All of our courses are led by experienced, qualified and dedicated tutors who are committed to helping students achieve personal and professional aspirations.

I hope, with over 200 courses offered in 24 rural and urban community venues that our new programme will offer you at least one rewarding learning opportunity this year.
