This is a 30 week course, which leads to an AS qualification. It is made of 2 units:-
Unit 1 – Looks at how laws are made and how our legal system works.
Unit 2 –Deals with criminal and civil liability. Criminal liability looks at the basic rules of criminal law in relation to non-fatal offences such as assault and battery. Under civil law we look at the tort of negligence involving liability for physical injury and damage to property.
'Having recently obtained her teaching qualification, Catherine currently works as a teacher at Trinity school teaching A'Level Law to sixth form students. In a previous life, Catherine worked in a number of different roles, including working with adults on literacy and numeracy programmes and organising training courses for people in the community.'
