A one day workshop for complete beginners, you will discover the ancient craft of Batik. Learn how to apply dye to silk. And use hot wax to stop the dye from spreading and create exciting effects with salt. You will experiment with resist techniques, then embark on your own Batik picture, applying layers of wax and dyes, building up a textured effect.
Please note: bring an apron. A small charge will be made at the course for fabrics and dyes.
