TRINITY SCHOOL
Students will be introduced to beaded jewellery making. They will learn about different types of findings and materials and the pros and cons of each type. Tey will learn to make a variety of their own findings. Different types of stones will be discussed along with other types of beads i.e. crystal, glass etc. Students will be encouraged to think about the design of the pive rather than just the mechanics of putting a piece of jewellery together. Various beading techniques will be taught including spiral stitch, pearl knotting techniques, wire twisting etc.
