The course will show how to keep certain ledgers and day books manually and introduce computerised accounts using Sage. Please note: this course is a precursor to Bookkeeping Level 1 course (described in the qualification section); therefore if you attend this course you will automatically enrol for Levels 1 & 2.

The course will help you to learn to maintain cashbooks, petty cash, daybooks and posting ledgers. You will also be introduced to Computerised accounts using Sage Financial 50. You will undertake 5 manual assignments.

This course is suitable for you if you have completed a Level 1 Bookkeeping course or equivalent qualification. If you have not attended the Level 1 Bookkeeping course, and a place is available, you will need to undertake an interview with the tutor, to assess suitability. It is designed to enable individuals and small businesses to keep financial records on a Personal Computer using Sage Software.
