Languages
Communication is the name of the game; the main emphasis of all our
language classes will be conversational skills. These courses will equip
you to cope in most situations that you could find yourself in whilst
on holiday or when meeting foreign visitors in this country.
Basic structures and vocabularly will be learned using
a wide range of materials. We have a wide range of classes, if you are
unsure as to which class you should attend you should choose the one
you think is closest to your level, contact the Centre for course
details, and if necessary, get advice from the tutor.
Please note: that language
classes (up to and including year 4) are now accredited through the
Open College,
an adult
friendly scheme
of assessment in which there is no exam. Please note: as this is an
accredited programme learners will be expected to complete the full
30 week programme.
