The first 8 weeks will consist of learning and gaining experience in the copper foil technique, made famous by tiffany lampshades. A large variety of objects can be made by using this technique, from sun catchers and panels, to boxes, vases and lampshades. There will also be the opportunity to develop pattern making skills this is possible whether you are artistic or not. The 2nd 8 weeks will concentrate on the leaded light technique (it is advised that copper foil is done previously to this) that is associated with doors and windows.
Please note: equipment and cost of materials are required. Tools can be purchased from the tutor at a cost of approximately £35.00. Cost of materials will depend on the project undertaken.
