The aim of the course is to develop knowledge and understanding of English Literature. It consists of one exam and two pieces of coursework. In the exam you will be asked questions on four texts. The exam focuses on the way writers shape their stories: the narrative craft. The coursework pieces each focus on one play - one by Shakespeare and one by a more recent playwright.
