Preparing you for AQA English GCSE. The course will involve: 3 units; unit 1 understanding and producing non-fiction texts assessed through two 1 hour external examinations: reading & writing. Unit 2 speaking & listening assessed through three class based activities; presentation, discussion, role play. Unit 3 understanding & producing creative texts assessed through 2 class based controlled assessments: understanding creative texts, including Shakespeare play & producing creative texts. There is no coursework involved; however there will be an average of 1-2 hours homework on a weekly basis.
