Everything you need to know when planning a visit to Hadrian's Wall. All the historical background will be clearly explained and the various features of the Roman Frontier examined in detail. The main part of the course will be a virtual tour of each of the main sites along the wall, using over 300 photos, explaining where to go, what to see and how to look at the surviving evidence. There will also be a guide to the main museums along the roman frontier. Course materials will be available on the internet weekly, when you complete the course a CD of materials will be available.
