You will be using freehand machine embroidery if possible (not all machines are capable of this), where you can "draw" with the machine. The workshop will introduce you to some basic embroidery techniques and give you confidence to tackle more advanced projects. Learn how to use your own sewing machine and get the best out of it. Individual help will be given to those who need it. You will learn how to control the machine, the tension and the speed, prepare fabrics and use a wide variety of threads and techniques. If you have attended the course previously this will enable you to explore techniques with confidence. Please bring your own sewing machine and sewing equipment.
