MAKE AND RECYCLE YOUR OWN CLOTHES

Starting from scratch, learn how to make your own clothes or recycle your old garments. You will work on your own individual projects and be guided through the techniques needed, from using a paper pattern, cutting out, stitching, fitting the garment and caring for the fabric. Add a bit of flair and individuality to your wardrobe and start saving the planet and some money! Learn sewing techniques, both hand and machine. Gain confidence and learn some basics including, cleaning and oiling, adjusting tension, changing threads, filling the spool, basic stitch adjustments, hemming, patching, darning and even how to copy or rework your favourite clothes.
