Using traditional rag rug making techniques such as hooky and proddy (and a few non-traditional techniques), you will be introduced to the fascinating craft of rag rugging. Designing and creating your unique individual work, you can choose to create a range of pieces such as a small rug, a cushion, a mirror frame or a seat pad. This course will equip you with all the skills and craft tips that you need to confidently produce your own projects at home, and further develop your own artistic practice.
Please note: there is a charge of £4.00 for materials and approximately £14 - £20 for equipment paid to the tutor at the first class. Basic drawing & painting equipment is required. Frames are loaned for the duration of the course and a loan agreement form to be signed.
